There are over 8 billion people in the world, yet no one has the same fingerprint as you.
What does this tell?
It tells how distinct and unique you are as God’s creation.
A lot of people desire to find true meaning from life but it’s not enough to desire.
There must be the zeal to go all out to find it and that’s the reason I’m glad that you are reading this.
I’ve often said it and convincingly too that, THE ANSWERS YOU LOOK FOR, ARE WITHIN YOU and to find them, you’d need to seek, find and be your AUTHENTIC SELF.
It’s helpful to reflect on and live by William Shakespeare’s words that say “This above all: To thy own self be true.”
The danger in not taking time to search, discover and be yourself is that, you’ll live a life that’s disconnected and as such are not able to love yourself or anyone else very well.
Authenticity isn’t just about being you.
It has everything to do with choosing the SELF you want to be.
The SELF (YOU), is constantly being reinvented through interactions with the environment you are in, (physical or social).
The SELF is always UNDER CONSTRUCTION, hence the need to constantly follow your intuition to go out there and take advantage of new opportunities and conversation (just as you’re doing by reading this) .
That, will provide you with CLARITY, challenge your Creativity and offer FRESH INSIGHTS to you on WHO YOU ARE, WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF BECOMING as well as HOW TO ACHIEVE IT.
YOU need the COURAGE to “TRY OUT A NEW YOU” by experimenting with innovative, unfamiliar and sometimes discomforting ways of connecting and mining your full potentials.
I’m conscious of the fact that, it’s not everyone out there that is interested in stepping out and stepping up their game and that’s why this article is for only the restless soul who’s tired of an Average life and seeking for answers on how to successfully move from the old, familiar “self” to the REAL AUTHENTIC YOU that’s totally designed and packaged to serve you and humanity.
I say this because over time, your career and the specific job you do, may have caused you to become comfortable sitting on the sidelines, being at the backstage or behind the scenes of your own life while events that shape your life play out without you figuring out the part you have to play in creating the life you deserve and desire.
This was also my experience.
I was limited in most areas including, my finances, my creativity, my circle, my exposure etc.
And that’s exactly what the routine nature of your job is doing, by suppressing your ability to think deeply and create new ideas and realities.
And just as I once did, you are right now depending, centering and planning your life around your salary, which in a lot of cases seem like a bribe offered to you so you can keep serving on the job and forget your Dream, Vision and Aspirations.
You may have been asked to stay off any form of work with an assurance that all your personal needs will be taken care of as a wife.
What about your DREAM?
While you’re able to feed, clothe and secure yourself with the salary you receive for giving up on your Dream (for so long), what happens to your desire to live a significant life?
Who’s going to drive that for you?
What happens to your need to fulfill your PURPOSE (your life’s assignment) which you will only achieve by the impact you make on other people.
What about your desire to leave a legacy behind?
You do not know how much power and influence you have and can wield as a Woman so you’ve chosen to let factors that are even totally within your control, box you into playing small.
You’re afraid of what people will say or how they’ll criticize you if you decide to step out and into your fullness.
Your job has become your comfort zone, a hiding place and you don’t want the temporary and false sense of security it offers you to be upset particularly as it offers you enough time for all the fun things of life.
You’re able to attend all social events, do all the aso ebi and visit friends for chit chats as regularly as you desire, and life goes on.
I’ll love to clarify that much as it’s never a bad idea to be content with where you are or what you have, it never bodes well to play things down and hide away from confronting and challenging yourself.
This is because, years will pass and days will come when you will sit down to demand accountability from your own self.
Be sure to do a good job of it then!
Whatever keeps you in your comfort zone is not a good thing because you never change your life until you step out of your self- imposed prison.
Change begins at the end of your comfort zone.
Therefore, if you don’t like where you are, MOVE! You’re not a tree.
And by this, I don’t mean that you prematurely quit your job without a clear and well thought out exit strategy.
What I mean is for you to let something move on your inside.
Have a meeting with yourself and let there be a shift in your Mind because that’s where the revolution should start.
Success begins with the realization and belief that you can be more, do more and achieve more, for your benefit and those of others.
It’s important to say at this point that there is so much you can achieve with what you’ve been GIVEN.
Your gifts include your passion, talent, expertise, qualification, experience, pain, past failures etc.
None of these is a waste.
They are all fragments of your SEED OF GREATNESS, and I encourage you to pay closer attention and maximize them for greater chances of success.
I’ll emphasize that, an accomplished life of Wealth and Impact, that enables you build and leave a legacy starts with A DREAM.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS MEAN TO YOU?
DO YOU KNOW THAT YOUR DREAM IS VALID AND IT’S YOUR GIFT TO YOUR WORLD?
ARE YOU ROBBING THE WORLD OF THAT GIFT BY PLAYING SMALL AND NOT MAXIMIZING YOUR POTENTIAL?
WHO HAVE YOU HANDED YOUR AUTHORITY?
Is it to your job?
To your past mistakes and failures?
To your Pain? or
To your fellow human being?
